Course Description

Over 90% of Americans do not maximize their social security benefits, causing them to miss tens of thousands of dollars they are entitled to. Are you one of these people? In this webinar, you will gain the knowledge you need to help you make the right decision regarding receiving social security benefits for you, your loved ones, and even those you no longer love. You will be taught about the program’s history and why many of the myths you have about the program are incorrect, including the program’s financial stability.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify what you can do to maximize Social Security benefits for you, your spouse, and your children
  • Recall what role taxes play in your Social Security benefits and your overall retirement plan
  • Recognize the stability of the program and what your benefits might look like when you retire
  • Determine how work and pensions affect the Social Security benefits received by you and your family

        Janice Beck (Individual Tax Prep)

“Dave Hall is one of the best speakers I have seen on these webinars. His knowledge of retirement and Social Security is unparalleled. This was one of the best investments of 2 hours of my time in addition to getting CPE that I’ve made! Great job Dave!”

        Gayle Rochford (A2 Consulting)

“Everyone should attend these webinars. They are very effective and helpful when you are preparing for your own benefits. Sometimes when you contact the SS office the agent is not proficient with the knowledge or just not willing to go over the benefits in detail. Dave did a fantastic job. Thanks for spending time after the webinar to answer some of the questions.”

Kim Childs (Kim J. Childs, CPA)

“Dave Hall presented such useful information about all the things to understand and think about when you should choose to start taking Social Security benefits. If affected me personally because I am currently at that point of my life and I learned things I did not know before.”

Theodore Verbich (Theodore M Verbich, CPA)

“Wow, what a webinar. Especially timed for my wife’s and our timing of when to claim SSA as we are now both at full retirement age but not collecting yet. This webinar presented a few samples that I will be looking into further. Excellent webinar.”

        Lee Hamilton (TKC Holdings Inc)

Mr. Hall always does an excellent job, and I thoroughly enjoyed this course. The majority of my clients are not yet near social security age, and for me, this course was particularly helpful, breaking down the many nuances.

        Michael DiMartino (Michael DiMartino, CPA)

“The webinar was very informative and highlighted many areas of potential confusion and mistakes. Mr. Hall is obviously highly knowledgeable in this subject and can be of great help to professionals and individual alike.”

        Walter Shoemaker (Walter Shoemaker)

“Dave is an exceptional presenter. He does his research. I enjoyed his on the spot answers to participant questions. When I ever see his name with a Webinar I try to include it in my schedule

        Lisa Rolf (Thrive Behavioral Health)

“This webinar was excellent. I learned something new in the first 5 minutes! I hope that CPA Academy offers this one again, as the information benefits all of us personally.”
